"Where Is The Heart That Beat So True" tells the story of a happy family in China that was targeted for destruction by the Chinese Communist Party (CCP), simply because one of its members was a Falun Gong practitioner. The characters may be fictional, but the song tells the truth, as what is described has been a well-documented, common occurrence since the persecution of Falun Gong began in 1999.

On July 6, 2006 former Canadian MP David Kilgour and international human rights lawyer David Matas released a 45-page report detailing the results of their investigation into allegations that widespread organ harvesting from living Falun Gong practitioners has been taking place in China. Their report, which can be found here http://organharvestinvestigation.net/ , finds these allegations credible.

Thousands of Falun Gong practitioners are missing in China. Their family members cannot find them, and they have nowhere to turn for help. Are their loved ones in one of the death camps, or have they already been murdered for their organs? At this point in time, they can only wait and hope that their worst fears have not come to pass.

Lyrics:

We were sweethearts in college, we married in the Spring,

Found an apartment outside of Beijing

Our good times were many, our problems were few

We were carefree and happy, a nation of two.

But it wasn't long after our daughter arrived,

My wife came down sick and she barely survived

She saw lots of doctors as the years slipped by

But she failed to improve much and we didn't know why

Chorus:

Oh where is she now, the love of my life

What has become of my beautiful wife

Where is the happiness that we once knew

Where is the heart that beat so true

Then one day my wife learned about Falun Gong

She studied and practiced and it didn't take long

Till her illness had vanished without leaving a trace

She had a bounce in her step and a smile on her face.

The next several years were the best we had known

She followed the way that her Teacher had shown

But storm clouds were brewing in the ruling Party

Jiang Zemin was stewing in his own jealousy

There was light in the darkness and so Jiang's cabal

Found a final solution to get rid of them all.

He launched the red terror on a hot summer night,

My wife was arrested and she dropped out of sight.

Repeat chorus

Oh where is she now, the love of my life

What has become of my beautiful wife

Where is the happiness that we once knew

Where is the heart that beat so true

Two years went by slowly, our child turned fourteen

She held back her tears as she asked me again

"How could the police take my mother away?"

"Will she be home by my next birthday?"

I searched high and low, but I found not a clue

Where she was taken, seemed nobody knew

Then I dropped to my knees when the truth came to light

About thirty-six death camps, hidden from sight.

There's crimes taking place and I'm making it clear

So the whole world will know what is happening here

They're harvesting organs from live detainees

For sale to the transplant industry

Repeat Chorus

Oh where is she now, the love of my life

What has become of my beautiful wife,

Where is the happiness that we once knew

Where is the heart that beat so true?
